Customs Duties, Tariffs, and Related Charges
Tigers Worldwide Logistics Pvt Ltd acts solely as a freight forwarder and/or customs broker (where appointed) and does not assume any liability for the payment, assessment, calculation, or collection of customs duties, tariffs, taxes, levies, fines, penalties, or any other government-imposed charges related to the import, export, or clearance of cargo. Such liabilities and obligations rest exclusively with the importer of record, exporter, shipper, or consignee as per applicable laws (including the Customs Act, 1962 in India) and Incoterms. Payment of any such charges to us (if facilitated) does not relieve the responsible party of ultimate liability in the event of non-payment or disputes.
Cargo Insurance
Cargo insurance is the sole responsibility of the shipper, exporter, importer, or consignee, as determined by the applicable Incoterms (e.g., under CIF/CIP the seller may arrange minimum cover, but risk transfer and full protection remain with the relevant party). Tigers Worldwide Logistics Pvt Ltd does not provide, arrange, or underwrite cargo insurance unless explicitly agreed in a separate written contract. We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, theft, delay, deterioration, or destruction of cargo, nor for any related claims, compensation, or consequences arising from uninsured or inadequately insured goods. Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive cargo insurance coverage from a licensed insurer.
